![]() ![]() For now, the release version of Zotero should work fine. I've reported this to Apple (FB10419695), so hopefully they'll fix this for the next beta. There's no difference between builds that work and builds that don't other than the value of CFBundleIdentifier. The only explanation that I can think of is that Ventura has some sort of hard-coded compatibility shim in place for, and current versions of the app won't start without it. Meanwhile, a newer version of Zotero that we're working on, built against a newer macOS SDK, works on Ventura regardless of the value of CFBundleIdentifier. La beta pública de macOS Ventura estuvo disponible el 11 de julio. I can reproduce this in a local development build just by altering CFBundleIdentifier, with no other changes. That includes our beta builds, which use -beta. It seems that if our internal macOS app identifier (CFBundleIdentifier) is set to anything other than, the app crashes at startup. I can confirm this - and on an Intel Mac, so it's unrelated to Rosetta.
